Jamie and I remember Matt Vanderwarker as the best on-ball defender. I think his dad's coaching had a lot to do with it. He wasn't scared to body up and he had quick hands. Not a shot blocker but, especially against my weak dribble, he could cause problems.
I could never get a steal. I had such bad timing and reflexes at jumping into the passing lane. But I did okay at not letting my player light up the scoreboard. At least I think so. We should find the old books somehow or ask Pastor Hart or Mr. Frizzell. THEY need to add to this page. Great guys. Awesome role models.
