was the best ever in my opinion.
Who can deny the likes of Teena Buzeman, Dave Duhaime, Nathan Frizzell, Robin Smith, Matt Vanderwarker, Jacob Zorn and myself as uncanny role models that still invoke thoughts of splendor.
Okay, so maybe that's a little TOO much. But I do know one thing. Even though at times we had our differences, I truly believe we were one of the closes classes ever to graduate from Trinity.
From senior sales, to road trips and the unforgettable Grenada class trip, we ARE the best class!

This shouldn't even be a topic for conversation. I thought everyone already understood that 1993 was THE year.
I wonder how many people knew that I brought Rum back from Grenada...oh to be young (and foolish) again!
I also remember a machete that was brought back ... poor Teena. Wasn't her suitcase searched because of it ... JF
This is SO timely! I went to the doctor on Friday and she asked me if I had ever had a bad sunburn. I laughed and said, "Yeah, once. I went to Grenada for my senior trip and we all got pretty fried, especially one guy who thought spray on SPF 8 would be more than enough to protect him. I recall blisters?
Didn't TWO (2) people have blisters that trip??? _ J. Full
I think Teena's suitcase got searched because she was trying to smuggle nutmeg through customs. Thos spices are dangerous and illegal to import. It had nothing to do with the big knife in the other bag. Nothing at all:). Oh yes there were two people with blisters. JZ
Not sure what you all are talking about. :-)
Did any of you get postcards from Junior for a year or two after our trip?
I remember warm Cokes and pumpkin soup. Double ugh.
I seem to remember martial arts moves, too.
THAT has to be Teena ... yeah, a broken broomstick and a flying coconut ... Junior was awesome. One of the last postcards I received said he was married. What a trip. I remember the pizza was really sweet, Teena & Robin laughed at "all" us guys buying what we thought was black coral jewelry and a few late nights just hanging out. WHAT a trip. One of the best ever. _ J. Full
One of my most vivid mental pictures is of poor Dave shuffling along in his flip flops trying not to let his clothes touch his blisters! Did he get those on that snorkeling trip with that awful "guide"?
Can anyone remember the name of the island we took the charter flight to (only to fall asleep at the missionaries' house)?
And I recall Dave and I swimming for our lives from a "shark" :-) That still makes me laugh!

I think it was Caricou. That shark was pretty scary - I'm glad I made it out alive.
I also remember someone said they couldn't see me behind a very small tree cause I was so thin...boy that's not true anymore!
How about going to a private school and wearing skirts to your ankles for x-number of years only to go coed swimming on your senior trip?
I've taught English in Christian schools for 8 years (yikes!) and can't help but laugh at all the kids complaining about the rules and how strict school is, how there is no fun, blah, blah, blah. I hope they can get over themselves and make the sorts of memories we have. --TV
Teena's comment is perfect. There were times I found myself complaining about the rules and "legalism"; but looking back I know Trinity was the perfect place for me during that stage of my life. Now, I think, we all have some of the best memories in our lives dating back to there. _ J. Full
I can't explain how much joy and happiness I have when I think of all the good memories of those years. The school camps, the sports trips, our senior trip: what great times. I still laugh out loud when I think of the sun burn situation, the karate demonstration, Jeff and Matt fighting to get to the right side of the court because that is where I passed more often, etc.
I agree with the comment about the strictness of the school. If we chose to focus on that we would have missed out on all the happy memories that going to a small school affords. Thanks to each of you from the class of '93 and the rest of the school for your friendship. I'm hoping that we are able to get a reunion together. To not due so, is such a shame.

That was one of the funniest things! Seeing Dave D. walk with his seeping blisters! J. Flem. Hope you don't mind?!? I 'm not in the ultimate class, but I have lots of memories of THE class.
I liked the ice cream flavored "Power" ... that was good stuff.
Junior saying... "tak it luk a mon"

My dad still tells me to "take it like man" when I start complaining; which, yes, is all the time ... I think possibly, for me, I could almost make Stephen and Josh honorary members of the greatest class. But then, we would lose some of our quirkiness. How 'bout that, all 7 of us have weighed in. We're still alive and doing relatively well I'd say. Keep in touch y'all and never forget from whence we've come ... _ J. Full
